One of the many quality Lingcod caught.. This one fell for the 14oz copper LingKiller jig
When asked by Poseiden Fishing Adventures if we would like to sponsor a trip on the Ranger 85 out of Channel Islands Sportfishing we knew it would be a great chance to show what our jigs could do.. We gave jigs away to all passengers on board.
Early in the Day the glow white and rootbeer jigs were producing Lingcod, quality Reds and Chuckle heads. It was steady action as we moved from spot to spot picking off lings and filling our rockfish limits..

Got a nice one on the rootbeer octopus

Nice vermillion rockfish caught on the glow LingKiller jig

Nice lingcod on the glow lingcod jig
After nearly filling our limits of big rockfish the Captain moved us around to different pinnacles in the area in search of Lingcod. These moves paid off with some big Lingcod coming over the rail.

Several large fish were caught on this trip.. Heres one nice one on its way to the refrigerated box.

Another quality Lingcod caught on a LingKiller jig
At the end of the day Capt. Moved us in Shallow to some serious structure. In this spot I broke out the light tackle and had some fun! Got rocked by a few nice lings before I hooked into the Jackpot contender on the 9oz copper LingKiler jig! This spot also produced some jumbo whitefish and nice Cabezon.. Overall it was a great trip for me with easy limits of Jumbo rockfish and limits of lingcod with my new Personal best Lingcod! Thanks again to Poseiden Fishing Adventures and to Channel Islands Sportfishing for putting the trip together..

Rob got this nice 8lb whitefish on the last stop..

Nice Cabezon on the rootbeer jig
